4. Setup and Installation

The ASPL LED Traffic Advisor Strobe Light Bar offers flexible installation options. Choose the method best suited for your vehicle and application.

4.1. Suction Cup Mounting (Temporary)

  1. Clean the desired mounting surface on your windshield thoroughly to ensure optimal suction.
  2. Attach the suction cups to the provided brackets on the light bars.
  3. Press the suction cups firmly against the clean glass surface. Ensure a secure hold.
  4. Note: If suction cups are stiff, soak them in boiling water for 30 seconds to soften them for easier installation into the bracket holes.

4.2. L-Bracket Mounting (Permanent)

  1. Identify a suitable, flat surface for permanent installation, such as a dashboard or rear deck.
  2. Position the L-brackets and mark the drilling locations.
  3. Drill pilot holes if necessary, then secure the L-brackets using the provided screws.
  4. Attach the light bars to the secured L-brackets.

4.3. Wiring Connection

  1. Connect the two light bars using the 3.9-foot straight cable.
  2. Plug the cigarette lighter adapter into your vehicle's 12-24V power outlet.
  3. Route the 16.4-foot power cable safely, ensuring it does not interfere with vehicle controls or moving parts.

5. Operating Instructions

The ASPL LED Traffic Advisor Strobe Light Bar is controlled via the dual switch on the cigarette lighter adapter.

  1. Power On/Off: Use the red rocker switch on the cigarette lighter adapter to turn the light bar system on or off.
  2. Change Flash Patterns: Press the black button on the cigarette lighter adapter to cycle through the 26 available flash patterns.
  3. Memory Function: The light bar features a last pattern recall/memory function, meaning it will resume the last selected flash pattern when powered on again.
