The Appia Life is designed for professional use, offering reliability and performance for high-volume environments. Its auto volumetric feature ensures consistent espresso shot volumes, enhancing efficiency and quality.

2. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in fire, electric shock, or other injury or damage.

  • Always connect the machine to a grounded power outlet with the correct voltage and amperage as specified on the machine's rating plate.
  • Do not immerse the machine, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Keep hands and body parts away from hot surfaces and steam nozzles during operation.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the machine.
  • Disconnect the power supply before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
  • Only qualified personnel should perform installation and major repairs.
  • Use only potable water for operation.

3. Unpacking and Installation

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the machine from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Retain all packaging materials for potential future transport.

3.2 Placement

Place the espresso machine on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface capable of supporting its weight (approximately 195 pounds). Ensure adequate clearance for ventilation and access for maintenance. The dimensions are 31 x 21 x 22 inches (W x D x H).

3.3 Water Connection

Connect the drain hose from the machine's drip tray to an appropriate waste water drain. Ensure the hose has a continuous downward slope to prevent blockages.

Connect the power cord to a dedicated, grounded electrical outlet that meets the machine's power requirements. Consult a qualified electrician if necessary. Do not use extension cords.
