2. Product Components
Familiarize yourself with the parts of your Beldray BEL0700-VDE vacuum cleaner:

3. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your vacuum cleaner before first use:
- Attach the Flexible Hose: Insert the end of the flexible hose into the suction inlet on the main unit until it clicks securely into place.
- Connect the Telescopic Extension Tube: Push the wider end of the telescopic extension tube onto the handle of the flexible hose. Adjust the length of the telescopic tube by pressing the release button and sliding it to the desired position.
- Attach the Floor Head: Push the floor head onto the narrow end of the telescopic extension tube. Ensure it is firmly attached.
- Optional Attachments: For specialized cleaning, the 2-in-1 crevice tool and brush attachment can be fitted directly onto the hose handle or the telescopic tube.

4. Operating Instructions
Operating your Beldray BEL0700-VDE vacuum cleaner is straightforward:
- Power Connection: Unwind the power cord and plug it into a suitable mains socket.
- Power On/Off: Press the power button located on the main unit to switch the vacuum cleaner on. Press it again to switch off.
- Cleaning Surfaces:
- Hard Floors and Carpets: Use the main floor head for general cleaning. Some floor heads have a switch to adjust for different floor types.
- Tight Spaces and Edges: Attach the crevice tool for narrow gaps, corners, and edges.
- Upholstery and Delicate Surfaces: Use the brush attachment (part of the 2-in-1 tool) for cleaning upholstery, curtains, or other delicate items.
- Maneuverability: The lightweight design and rubber wheels allow for easy movement across various floor types. The 5-meter power cord provides ample reach.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner.
5.1 Emptying the Dust Container
Empty the dust container when the debris reaches the 'MAX' fill line or when suction power decreases.
- Disconnect Power: Always unplug the vacuum cleaner from the mains supply before maintenance.
- Remove Dust Container: Press the release button on the main unit and carefully lift the dust container away.
- Empty Debris: Hold the dust container over a waste bin and open the bottom flap to release the collected dust and debris.
- Reattach: Close the flap and securely reattach the dust container to the main unit until it clicks.

5.2 Cleaning the HEPA Filter
The washable HEPA filter should be cleaned regularly to maintain suction power and air quality. Clean the filter at least once a month, or more frequently with heavy use.
- Access Filter: After removing and emptying the dust container, twist and pull out the HEPA filter assembly from the top of the dust container.
- Wash Filter: Rinse the HEPA filter under cold running water until the water runs clear. Do not use detergents or hot water.
- Dry Thoroughly: Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting. Do not use heat to dry.
- Reassemble: Once completely dry, place the HEPA filter back into the dust container and then reattach the dust container to the main unit.

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your vacuum cleaner, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
