Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
- No Sound or Intermittent Sound:
- Ensure both the microphone and receiver have sufficient power. Check battery levels on the microphone display and receiver indicator.
- Verify that the receiver is connected to a MIC input on your audio equipment, not an AUX input.
- If no sound from one or both microphones, re-pair the devices:
- 1. Turn off both the receiver and microphone.
- 2. Open the microphone battery cap.
- 3. Press and hold the microphone's (HI LO) button for 10 seconds or more until the display channel flashes.
- 4. Quickly turn on the receiver. Wait for the microphone channel display to stop flashing, and the blue light of the receiver to become solid. The devices are now re-paired.
- If using multiple microphones simultaneously, ensure they are on different channels to avoid interference. Refer to the channel changing instructions in the Operating Instructions section.
- Poor Sound Quality or Static:
- Check for sources of interference (e.g., other wireless devices, Wi-Fi routers) and move away from them.
- Change the operating channel on the microphone.
- Ensure the microphone is within the optimal operating range (up to 160 feet) of the receiver.
