Setup Instructions
The Philips Hue Bloom offers two primary methods for initial setup: using the Hue Bluetooth app for direct control or integrating with a Philips Hue Bridge for advanced features.
Option 1: Bluetooth App Setup (Single Room Control)
- Install Your Lighting: Place your Philips Hue Bloom lamp in your desired location and plug it into a power outlet.
- Download the Philips Hue App: Download the official Philips Hue Bluetooth app from your device's app store (available on Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
- Connect via Bluetooth: Open the Hue app, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device, and follow the in-app instructions to discover and connect to your Bloom lamp. You can control up to 10 lights in one room with Bluetooth.

Option 2: Philips Hue Bridge Setup (Full Home Control & Advanced Features)
For full home control, automations, and integration with smart home ecosystems, a Philips Hue Bridge (sold separately) is required.
- Install Your Lighting: Place your Philips Hue Bloom lamp in your desired location and plug it into a power outlet.
- Connect the Philips Hue Bridge: Plug in your Philips Hue Bridge and connect it to your Wi-Fi router using an Ethernet cable. Ensure the Bridge is powered on.
- Download the Philips Hue App: Download the official Philips Hue app (not the Bluetooth-only version) from your device's app store.
- Discover Lights: Open the Hue app and follow the instructions to connect to your Hue Bridge. Once connected, the app will search for and add your Bloom lamp. You may need to provide the serial number located on the bottom of the lamp if automatic discovery fails.
