1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using your Wapaneus Heated Electric Blanket. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or injury.

  • Do Not Stack: Never stack electric blankets or other heating devices on top of this blanket while in use. This can lead to overheating and potential hazards.

3. Product Overview

The Wapaneus HLB-LT-FF Heated Electric Blanket is designed for comfort and warmth. It features a double-sided construction with 220GSM skin-friendly flannel on both sides. 4. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heated blanket and its components from the packaging.
  2. Placement: Lay the blanket flat on your bed or desired surface. Ensure it is not folded, bunched, or creased, as this can cause localized overheating.
  3. Connect Controller: Locate the connection port on the blanket and firmly plug in the digital controller's connector.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord from the controller into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the cord is not pinched or placed under heavy objects. The power cord is approximately 15 feet long to allow for flexible placement.

5. Operating Instructions

The digital controller allows for easy adjustment of heat and timer settings.

  • Power On/Off: Press the 'ON/OFF' button to turn the blanket on or off. The digital display will illuminate when on.
  • Adjust Heat Level: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to cycle through the 10 available heat settings. The current heat level will be displayed.
  • Set Timer: Press the 'TIME' button to activate the timer function. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to select a duration from 1 to 12 hours. The blanket will automatically shut off after the set time.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your heated blanket.

  1. Disconnect: Always disconnect the controller and power cord from the blanket before cleaning.
  2. Machine Wash: The blanket is machine washable. Use a gentle cycle with cold water (below 30℃/86℉). Do not bleach or iron.
  3. Hand Wash: Alternatively, the blanket can be hand washed in water below 30℃/86℉.
  4. Drying Instructions:
    • Preheat the dryer on the "low" temperature setting for 2 minutes.
    • Place the blanket into the dryer and tumble dry for 10 minutes at a low temperature.
    • Remove the blanket while it is still damp and gently stretch it to its original size.
    • Drape the heated product over a clothesline or a shower rod. DO NOT use clothespins.
    • The heated product must be COMPLETELY dry before reconnecting the power plug or control plug.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Blanket Not Heating: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the blanket and the wall outlet. Check if the outlet is functional.
  • Uneven Heating: Ensure the blanket is laid flat and not bunched or folded. Uneven distribution can affect heat.
  • Controller Display Not Working: Unplug the blanket for a few minutes, then plug it back in. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
  • Automatic Shut-off: The blanket has a built-in timer (1-12 hours) and overheat protection. If it shuts off unexpectedly, check the timer setting or allow it to cool down before restarting.
