Setup
1. SIM Card and microSD Card Installation
The Honor 9X supports dual Nano-SIM cards and a microSD card for expandable storage up to 512GB.
- Locate the SIM card tray on the side of your device.
- Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and push gently until the tray pops out.
- Place your Nano-SIM card(s) and/or microSD card into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the gold contacts face downwards.
- Carefully reinsert the tray into the device until it clicks into place.
2. Initial Power On and Setup
- Press and hold the Power button until the Honor logo appears.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, region, and connect to a Wi-Fi network.
- Sign in with your Google account to access services like the Google Play Store and synchronize your data. If you do not have a Google account, you can create one during this step.
- Complete the remaining setup steps, including setting up security features like a PIN, pattern, or fingerprint.

Display and Navigation
The Honor 9X features a 6.59-inch TFT LCD (LTPS) FullView display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Navigate the device using touch gestures such as tapping, swiping, pinching, and spreading.
Camera Usage
The device is equipped with a triple rear camera system (48MP + 8MP + 2MP) and a 16MP pop-up front camera.
- Rear Camera: Open the Camera app and select modes such as Photo, Portrait, Night, or Pro. Tap the shutter button to capture images.
- Front Camera: In the Camera app, switch to the front camera. The 16MP front camera will automatically emerge from the top of the device. It retracts automatically when the camera app is closed or switched back to the rear camera.
Storage Management
The Honor 9X comes with 128GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM. Storage can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card. Regularly manage your files and applications to optimize performance.
Connectivity
