1. Important Safety Instructions
Please read all instructions carefully before using the Sew Mighty Mighty Multi sewing machine. Retain this manual for future reference.
- Always unplug the machine from the power outlet when not in use, before cleaning, or when changing parts.
- Do not operate the machine with a damaged cord or plug. If the machine is not working properly, has been dropped, damaged, or dropped into water, return it to an authorized service center.
- Keep fingers away from all moving parts. Special care is required around the sewing machine needle.
- Use only the accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
- To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove the plug from the outlet.

3. Setup Guide
3.1 Unboxing Your Sewing Machine

3.2 Powering the Machine
Your Mighty Multi can be powered by either the included 110V AC adapter or four AA batteries (not included). Ensure only one power source is connected at a time.
- AC Power: Insert the AC adapter into the DC power port on the machine and plug it into a standard 110V AC outlet.
- Battery Power: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the machine and insert four AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
3.3 Winding the Bobbin

- Place an empty bobbin onto the bobbin winder spindle.
- Place a spool of thread onto the spool pin.
- Guide the thread through the bobbin winder tension disc.
- Wrap the thread around the empty bobbin a few times.
- Push the bobbin winder spindle to the right.
- Turn on the machine to the 'L' (low) speed setting. The bobbin will start winding.
- Once the bobbin is full, turn off the machine and cut the thread.
- Push the bobbin winder spindle back to the left and remove the wound bobbin.

3.4 Threading the Machine
Correct threading is essential for proper stitch formation. Follow these instructions carefully.
- Raise the needle to its highest position using the handwheel.
- Place the wound bobbin into the bobbin case under the needle plate. Ensure the thread unwinds in the correct direction as indicated in the manual.
- Close the bobbin cover.
- Place a spool of upper thread onto the spool pin.
- Guide the upper thread through the thread guide and tension disc as shown in the machine's diagrams.
- Thread the needle from front to back. Use the included needle threader for assistance if needed.
- Pull the bobbin thread up through the needle plate by turning the handwheel once.
- Pull both threads (upper and bobbin) under the presser foot and towards the back of the machine.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Stitch Selection
The Mighty Multi offers 12 pre-programmed stitch patterns. To select a stitch, turn the pattern selector dial to the desired number. Refer to the machine's front panel for visual representation of each stitch.

4.2 Sewing Forward and Reverse
To start sewing, place your fabric under the presser foot and lower the presser foot lever. Turn the machine on using the speed switch (L for low, H for high) or press the foot pedal. To sew in reverse, press and hold the reverse stitch button. Release the button to sew forward again. This is useful for securing stitches at the beginning and end of seams.
4.3 Sewing Thick Fabrics
The Mighty Multi is capable of sewing through multiple layers of fabric, including denim. For thicker materials, ensure the correct needle size is installed and sew at a slower speed.
