2. Safety Instructions
Please read and understand all safety information before using this product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Lithium Batteries: DO NOT use this charger for lithium batteries. It is designed exclusively for 12V/24V lead-acid batteries (AGM, GEL, MF, SLA, VRLA).
- Ventilation: Ensure the charging area is well-ventilated. Batteries can produce explosive gases during charging.
- Eye and Skin Protection: Always wear eye protection and protective clothing when working with batteries. Battery acid is corrosive.
- Sparks and Flames: Keep sparks, flames, and smoking materials away from the battery and charger.
- Disconnect Power: Always disconnect the AC power supply from the charger before connecting or disconnecting the battery clamps.
- Correct Polarity: Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) battery terminal. Reverse polarity protection is built-in, but correct connection is essential.
- Damaged Equipment: Do not operate the charger if it has been damaged in any way. Contact customer support.
- Children and Pets: Keep the charger and battery out of reach of children and pets.
- Indoor Use: This charger is intended for indoor use. Do not expose it to rain or excessive moisture.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Intelligent LCD Digital Display
The LCD screen provides real-time information about the charging process. It automatically cycles through displaying temperature, charging voltage, charging current, and battery power level.

Figure 3: The LCD display showing various parameters such as charge voltage, charge current, temperature, and battery power percentage.
- Voltage (V): Displays the current charging voltage.
- Current (A): Displays the current charging amperage.
- Temperature (°C): Shows the ambient temperature, which influences the charging mode.
- Battery Power: Indicates the estimated battery charge level in percentage.
- Battery Type: Automatically detects 12V or 24V battery.
5.2. Automatic Charging Process
Once connected, the charger automatically detects the battery voltage (12V or 24V) and begins a 3-stage charging process:
- Desulfation: Initial stage to break down sulfates that may have built up on the battery plates.
- Bulk Charge: Charges the battery to approximately 80% capacity at the maximum current.
- Absorption Charge: Charges the battery to 100% at a decreasing current.
- Float Charge: Maintains the battery at full charge by providing a small, constant voltage.
5.3. Mode Selection
Press the "MODE" button to cycle through different charging modes:
- Car/Truck Mode: Standard charging for 12V/24V car and truck batteries.
- AGM Mode: Optimized charging for AGM batteries.
- Motorcycle Mode: Lower current charging for 12V motorcycle batteries.
- Repair Mode: Pulse repair function for deeply discharged or sulfated batteries.

Figure 4: The charger's display indicating the selectable charging modes.
5.4. Temperature Compensation (Summer/Winter Mode)
The charger automatically detects the ambient temperature and adjusts the charging voltage accordingly to optimize charging efficiency and prevent overcharge or undercharge.
- Summer Mode: Activated above 28°C to prevent overcharging in hot conditions.
- Winter Mode: Activated below 10°C to ensure adequate charging in cold conditions.

Figure 5: Illustration of the automatic temperature detection and corresponding Summer/Winter charging modes.
5.5. Disconnecting the Charger
- Unplug the AC power cord from the wall outlet.
- Disconnect the black negative (-) clamp from the battery.
- Disconnect the red positive (+) clamp from the battery.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the charger casing with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the charger is unplugged before cleaning.
- Storage: Store the charger in a cool, dry place when not in use. Keep the cables neatly coiled.
- Pulse Repair Function: Utilize the "Repair Mode" periodically for deeply discharged or sulfated lead-acid batteries to help restore battery performance and extend lifespan. This function is not a guarantee of full battery recovery.
- Cable Inspection: Regularly inspect the power cord and battery clamps for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Charger does not power on. | No AC power; faulty outlet; damaged power cord. | Check AC power connection and outlet. Inspect power cord for damage. |
| Charger not charging battery. | Incorrect battery connection (reverse polarity); battery is severely damaged; battery type incompatible (e.g., lithium). | Ensure correct clamp connection. Verify battery type is lead-acid. If battery is severely damaged, it may not accept a charge. |
| Display shows error or protection icon. | Short circuit; reverse polarity; overcharging; over-current; overheating. | Disconnect charger from AC and battery. Check connections for short circuits. Reconnect correctly. Allow charger to cool if overheating. |
| Battery not fully charged after extended time. | Battery capacity too large for charger; battery is old or damaged; incorrect mode selected. | Ensure battery capacity is within 4AH-120AH. Consider using Repair Mode for sulfated batteries. Battery may need replacement. |
If troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, please contact customer support.
