Operating Instructions

The LAICA Flow'n go bottle provides instant filtration. Simply fill the bottle with tap water, secure the cap with the FAST DISK filter, and pour. The water is filtered as it passes through the disk, allowing for immediate consumption.

  • Filling: Remove the cap and fill the bottle with tap water up to the indicated fill line.
  • Pouring: Replace the cap firmly. When pouring water into a glass, the water will pass through the FAST DISK filter, providing filtered water instantly.
  • Filter Life Indicator: The cap features a manual filter life indicator. Refer to the maintenance section for details on how to use and reset it.

Maintenance

Filter Replacement

The LAICA FAST DISK filter has a lifespan of approximately 120 liters or 1 month, whichever comes first. For optimal performance and water quality, replace the filter regularly.

  • To replace, unscrew the cap, remove the old filter, and dispose of it.
  • Prepare the new filter as described in the Setup Instructions (rinse under cold water).
  • Insert the new filter into the cap and reattach the cap to the bottle.
  • Reset the manual filter life indicator on the cap.

Cleaning the Bottle

The bottle should be washed regularly, ideally a couple of times per week, using mild soap and water. Ensure all parts are thoroughly rinsed. The bottle is made from durable, BPA-free plastic.

Troubleshooting

  • Slow Water Flow: If water flow is slow when pouring, check that the air vent straw within the cap is correctly positioned and not obstructed. Ensure the filter is not clogged; if it is nearing the end of its life, replace it.
  • Leaking: Ensure the cap is securely tightened onto the bottle. Verify that the small, semi-transparent gasket at the base of the cap's thread is present and properly seated to prevent leaks.
  • Unpleasant Taste: If the filtered water has an unusual taste, ensure the filter was properly prepared (rinsed) before first use. If the filter is old, replace it.
