Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Unscrew the tail cap of the headlamp.
- Remove the protective plastic disc from the battery's positive terminal (if present).
- Insert the included 16340 rechargeable battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the lamp.
- Screw the tail cap back on tightly to ensure proper contact and water resistance.
2. Charging the Battery
The MC12 uses a magnetic USB charging cable for convenient recharging.
- Connect the USB end of the charging cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
- Attach the magnetic end of the cable to the charging port on the tail cap of the headlamp.
- The indicator light on the charging cable will show the charging status:
- Red: Charging in progress.
- Green: Charging complete.
- Alternating Red-Green (if not connected to lamp): Cable is ready.
- Disconnect the cable once charging is complete.
Important: The charging cable should only be connected to power during the charging process. Disconnect it when not in use to prevent potential short circuits if the magnetic end comes into contact with metal objects.
3. Attaching the Headband
To use the MC12 as a headlamp:
- Slide the headlamp into the silicone mount on the headband.
- Adjust the elastic straps for a comfortable and secure fit on your head.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To Turn On: Press and hold the side switch for approximately 0.5 seconds.
- To Turn Off: Press and hold the side switch for approximately 0.5 seconds.
Changing Brightness Modes
When the headlamp is on, short press the side switch to cycle through the brightness modes:
Moonlight → Low → Medium → High

Special Modes (Strobe)
- To Activate Strobe: Double-click the side switch rapidly from any mode (on or off).
- To Exit Strobe: Short press the side switch to return to the previously used brightness mode.
Battery Level Indicator
When the headlamp is off, short press the side switch to check the battery level. The indicator light on the switch will illuminate:
- Green: Battery is full (70-100%).
- Yellow: Battery is medium (30-70%).
- Red: Battery is low (less than 30%).
- Flashing Red: Battery is critically low (less than 10%), recharge immediately.
Versatile Usage
The MC12 is designed for multiple applications:
- Headlamp: Use with the included headband for hands-free illumination during camping, jogging, hiking, or repair work. The lamp head can be rotated 180 degrees to direct light precisely where needed.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the headlamp with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- O-rings: Periodically inspect the O-rings for wear and tear. Lubricate them with silicone grease to maintain water resistance. Replace if damaged.
- Battery Care:
- Recharge the battery regularly, especially if not used for extended periods, to prolong its lifespan.
- Store the headlamp with a partially charged battery in a cool, dry place if storing for a long time.
- If the battery is critically low (flashing red indicator), recharge it as soon as possible.
- Water Resistance: The MC12 is IPX8 waterproof, meaning it can be submerged up to 2 meters for 30 minutes. Ensure the tail cap is tightly screwed on before exposing it to water.
