Maintenance

Emptying the Dust Bin

The 0.5-liter dust bin should be emptied regularly to maintain optimal suction performance. The process is designed for ease of use:

1. Ensure the vacuum is turned off.
2. Locate the dust bin release mechanism, typically a twist or button.
3. Rotate the bin lid counter-clockwise to lift the bin from the main unit.
4. Continue rotating the lid to open the bottom flap and empty debris into a waste bin.
5. Manually push the bin bottom closed until it locks.
6. Reattach the dust bin to the vacuum, ensuring it clicks securely into place.

Cleaning Filters

The Triflex HX1 features a maintenance-free Hygiene Lifetime Filter with over 99.9% dust retention capacity. While generally maintenance-free, periodic checks and light cleaning can prolong its effectiveness.

• The filter unit is located within the dust bin.
• Twist the bin lid further counter-clockwise to remove the internal filter unit.
• The filter unit consists of multiple layers that can be separated for cleaning.
• Gently tap the filters to dislodge dust or use a soft brush to clean them. Do not wash the HEPA filter unless specified in the full user manual.
• Reassemble the filters, ensuring the center filter's projection aligns correctly with the HEPA filter.
