3. Setup

3.1 Assembling the Monitor Stand

  1. Carefully place the monitor face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Attach the stand base to the stand neck, ensuring it clicks securely or is fastened with the provided screw.
  3. Align the assembled stand with the mounting holes on the back of the monitor.
  4. Secure the stand to the monitor using the screws provided.

3.2 Connecting the Monitor

The ASUS VA24DQ monitor supports multiple video input options. Choose the appropriate cable for your computer.

  1. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the monitor's power input and then to a power outlet.

    • HDMI: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to your computer's HDMI output and the other end to the monitor's HDMI port.
    • DisplayPort: Connect one end of the DisplayPort cable to your computer's DisplayPort output and the other end to the monitor's DisplayPort.
    • VGA: Connect one end of the VGA cable to your computer's VGA output and the other end to the monitor's VGA port.
  3. Audio Connection (Optional): If you wish to use external speakers or headphones, connect an audio cable from your computer's audio output to the monitor's Audio In port, or connect headphones directly to the monitor's Earphone Out port.

3.3 VESA Wall Mounting (Optional)

The monitor is VESA wall mount compatible (100x100mm). To mount the monitor, remove the stand and attach a compatible VESA mount kit (sold separately) according to the mount manufacturer's instructions.

4. Operating the Monitor

4.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button located on the bottom right of the monitor bezel to turn the monitor on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the monitor is on.

Ensure your graphics card supports Adaptive-Sync or FreeSync and that the feature is enabled in your graphics card's control panel.
