4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your pressure washer before first use:

  1. Attach Wheels: If not already attached, secure the rubber wheels to the base of the unit.
  2. Connect High-Pressure Hose: Connect one end of the high-pressure hose to the outlet on the pressure washer and the other end to the spray gun. Ensure connections are tight.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Attach a garden hose (not included) to the water inlet on the pressure washer. Ensure the water inlet filter is in place. Connect the other end of the garden hose to a water tap.
  4. Connect Spray Lance/Nozzle: Attach the desired spray lance or adjustable nozzle to the spray gun.
  5. Fill Detergent Bottle (Optional): If using detergent, fill the detergent bottle with an appropriate pressure washer detergent and attach it to the spray gun.
  6. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Before operating, ensure all connections are secure and the water supply is turned on. Never run the pump dry.

  1. Purge Air: Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to allow water to flow through the system and expel any air. Continue until a steady stream of water emerges.
  2. Turn On: Turn the rotary On/Off switch to the 'On' position. The motor will start.
  3. Begin Cleaning: Direct the spray gun at the surface to be cleaned, maintaining a safe distance. Adjust the nozzle for the desired spray pattern (e.g., wide fan for general cleaning, narrow jet for stubborn dirt).
  4. Apply Detergent (if applicable): If using the detergent bottle, the pressure washer will operate at a lower pressure to allow for effective detergent application.
  5. Rinse: After applying detergent, remove the detergent bottle and rinse the surface with high-pressure water.
  6. Total Stop System (TSS): The unit features a Total Stop System (TSS) which automatically shuts off the pump when the trigger is released, saving energy and prolonging pump life. The pump restarts when the trigger is squeezed again.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your pressure washer.

  • Clean Water Inlet Filter: Regularly check and clean the water inlet filter to prevent blockages.
  • Drain Water: After each use, disconnect the water supply and run the pressure washer for a few seconds to drain any remaining water from the pump and hose. This is especially important in freezing temperatures.
  • Clean Nozzles: Clear any blockages in the nozzle using the provided nozzle cleaning tool.
  • Storage: Store the pressure washer in a dry, frost-free location. Wind the high-pressure hose and power cord neatly and store accessories in their designated compartments.
