Button Functions:

• ON/OFF: Powers the air conditioner on or off.
• TEMP (+/-): Adjusts the temperature setting.

Setup

Battery Installation:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control (refer to Figure 2).
2. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards or in the direction indicated by an arrow to open it.
3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

The remote control is designed for immediate use with compatible Comfortstar air conditioners once batteries are installed. No complex pairing or programming is typically required.

Operating Instructions

To operate your Comfortstar air conditioner using this remote control, point the remote directly at the air conditioner's receiver. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the unit.

• Power On/Off: Press the ON/OFF button to turn the air conditioner on or off.
• Adjusting Temperature: Use the TEMP + button to increase the temperature and the TEMP - button to decrease it.
• Changing Mode: Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through available operating modes (e.g., Cool, Dry, Fan, Heat, Auto). The current mode will be displayed on the remote's LCD screen.
