2. Important Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Please observe the following precautions:

• Child Safety Lock: The lighter features an external safety lock switch to prevent accidental ignition. Always engage the safety lock when not in use.
• Automatic Shut-off: For maximum safety, the lighter is equipped with an upgraded auto shut-off chip that stops the arc after 7 seconds of continuous activation.

4. Setup: Initial Charging

Before first use, ensure your RONXS Electric Lighter is fully charged.

1. Locate the Type C charging port at the base of the lighter.
2. Connect the provided Type C charging cable to the lighter and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
3. Charge the lighter for over 2 hours for a complete initial charge. The LED battery display will illuminate to indicate charging status and full charge.

5. Operating Instructions

General Operation:

1. Disengage Safety Lock: Slide the external safety lock switch to the 'ON' position. The LED battery indicators will light up.
2. Activate Arc: Press and hold the ignition button. A plasma arc will form between the electrodes at the tip of the flexible neck.
3. Ignite Target: Position the arc close to the item you wish to light (e.g., candle wick, grill charcoal).
4. Automatic Shut-off: The arc will automatically turn off after 7 seconds of continuous use. Release the button to stop the arc sooner.
5. Engage Safety Lock: After use, always slide the safety lock switch to the 'OFF' position to prevent accidental activation.

Tips for Lighting Candles:

• Ensure the candle wick is centered within the arc for optimal ignition.
• For multiple ignitions, take a 30-second pause after using it 20 times in a row to allow the device to cool.

Cleaning:

After each use, gently wipe the arcing part of the lighter with a soft tissue or cloth to remove any soot or debris. This helps maintain optimal performance.

Charging & Storage:

• Keep the lighter's charge above 20% even when not regularly used to preserve battery health.
• If not in use for a prolonged period, charge the lighter for 2 hours at least once a month.
• Store the lighter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Lighter Not Igniting:

• Check Battery: Ensure the lighter has sufficient charge by checking the LED battery display. Recharge if necessary.
• Safety Lock: Verify that the external safety lock switch is in the 'ON' position.
• Clean Electrodes: Clean any soot or debris from the arc electrodes as described in the Maintenance section.
• Avoid Liquids: Ensure the arcing part has not been immersed in candle oil or water. Allow to dry completely if exposed.

Arc is Weak or Inconsistent:

• Recharge: A weak arc often indicates a low battery. Fully recharge the device.
