Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery cover downwards to open it.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Operating Instructions
Point the remote control directly at the infrared receiver on your ComfortStar portable air conditioner unit.
- ON/OFF: Press to turn the air conditioner unit on or off.
- TEMP (+/-): Press to increase or decrease the desired temperature setting.
- MODE: Cycles through operating modes such as Cool, Dry, Fan, Heat (if applicable to your AC unit).
- SWING (Vertical): Activates or deactivates the vertical louver swing function.
- SWING (Horizontal): Activates or deactivates the horizontal louver swing function.

- TURBO SELF CLEAN: Activates a rapid cooling/heating function or a self-cleaning cycle (functionality depends on AC unit).
- LED FOLLOW ME: (If supported by your AC unit) Activates a function where the remote's sensor measures temperature and sends it to the AC unit for more precise control.
- LOCK: Locks the remote control buttons to prevent accidental changes. Press again to unlock.
- RESET: Resets the remote control to its default settings. Use a pointed object (like a paperclip) to press this button.
