Setup Instructions
- Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the trash can and its components.
- Power Options:
- Batteries (Not Included): Insert 4 Size C batteries into the battery compartment located on the underside of the lid. Ensure correct polarity.
- AC Adapter (Sold Separately): If using an AC adapter, plug it into the designated port on the back of the lid and then into a wall outlet.
- Install Retainer Ring and Trash Bag: Place the retainer ring inside the can body. Drape a standard 13-gallon trash bag over the retainer ring, ensuring the edges are tucked securely.
- Install AbsorbX Odor Filter: Open the filter gate located on the underside of the lid. Insert the AbsorbX Odor Filter into the gate and close it securely. This filter helps neutralize trash odors.
- Place the Lid: Carefully place the sensor lid onto the can body, ensuring it is properly aligned and seated.

Motion Sensor Operation
