Setup Guide
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the induction cooktop from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or future transport.
- Placement: Place the cooktop on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. Do not place it near heat sources or on metallic surfaces that could interfere with induction.

- Cookware Selection: Ensure you are using magnetic induction-compatible cookware. Test by placing a magnet on the bottom of your pot or pan; if it sticks, it is compatible.

Operating Instructions
- Power On: Place a compatible pot or pan on the desired cooking zone. Press the "On/Off" button for that zone. The display will illuminate.
- Select Function: Press the "Function" button to switch between Power (Wattage) and Temperature modes.
- Adjust Settings: Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the power level (1-10) or temperature (140°F - 460°F).
- Timer Setting: Press the "Timer" button, then use "+" and "-" to set the desired cooking time (up to 180 minutes). The cooktop will automatically turn off when the timer expires.
- Child Safety Lock: To activate the child lock, press and hold the "Lock" button (usually indicated by a lock icon) for a few seconds. Repeat to unlock.
- Power Sharing: When both burners are in use, the total power output is 1800W. Increasing the power on one burner will automatically reduce the power on the other to maintain the total wattage. Refer to the power sharing table below for details.
- Power Off: Press the "On/Off" button for the respective zone to turn it off. The fan may continue to run for a short period to cool the unit.
Power Sharing Feature
The GASTRORAG cooktop features intelligent power sharing. When only one burner is active, it can utilize the full 1800W. When both burners are operating simultaneously, the total power is distributed between them, ensuring the combined wattage does not exceed 1800W. Adjusting one burner's power will automatically adjust the other's.
Image: A diagram explaining the power sharing feature of the GASTRORAG double induction cooktop. It shows that when only one burner is used, it can reach 1800W. When both are used, the power is distributed, for example, 1050W for one and 750W for the other. A table details power levels and corresponding wattages for both single and dual burner operation.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning will help maintain the appearance and performance of your induction cooktop.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the cooktop from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Surface Cleaning: Wipe the premium glass surface with a soft, damp cloth or a microfiber cleaning cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild dish soap solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as they can scratch or damage the surface.
- Control Panel: Gently wipe the sensor touch control panel with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure no liquid enters the control area.
- Ventilation Openings: Keep the ventilation openings clear of dust and debris. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to gently remove any accumulation.
- Storage: If storing the cooktop for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place.
