3. Safety Instructions

Please read all safety instructions carefully before using the appliance to prevent injury or damage.

  • Always ensure the voltage matches your power supply.
  • Do not immerse the steamer in water or other liquids.
  • Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
  • Do not touch the hot steam plate or steam nozzle during operation or immediately after use.
  • Only use distilled or demineralized water to prevent mineral buildup.
  • Unplug the steamer when not in use, before filling with water, or before cleaning.
  • Do not operate the steamer with a damaged cord or plug.
  • Use the steamer only for its intended purpose as a garment steamer.

4. Setup

  1. Unfold the Steamer: Gently unfold the handle until it locks into place.
  2. Fill the Water Tank: Remove the water tank from the steamer. Open the rubber stopper and fill the tank with up to 100ml of distilled or demineralized water. Close the stopper securely and reattach the tank to the steamer.
  3. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for effective garment steaming:

  1. Pre-heating: Once plugged in, the steamer will begin to heat up. The indicator light will illuminate. The steamer is ready for use when the light changes or stops blinking (refer to specific indicator behavior in your model). Optimal steam is typically ready in just 20 seconds.
  2. Steaming Garments:
    • Vertical Steaming: Hang the garment on a hanger. Hold the steamer upright, keeping the steam plate a few inches away from the fabric. Move the steamer slowly downwards over the wrinkles.
    • Horizontal Steaming: Place the garment on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Move the steamer across the fabric, applying gentle pressure if desired.
  3. Using the Cleaning Brush: Before steam ironing, attach the cleaning brush accessory to the steam plate. Use it to remove dander, lint, or dust from the surface of clothes. This helps prepare the fabric for more effective wrinkle removal.
  4. Sterilization: The high-temperature steam sterilizes your clothes while removing wrinkles.
  5. Finishing: Once steaming is complete, press the power button to turn off the steamer and unplug it from the outlet.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your steamer.

  • Cleaning: After each use, ensure the steamer is unplugged and completely cooled. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits can build up, especially if tap water is used. To descale, fill the water tank with a mixture of 50% white vinegar and 50% distilled water. Run the steamer until half the solution is used, then turn it off and let it sit for 30 minutes. Repeat the process with the remaining solution. Finally, rinse the tank and run two full tanks of plain distilled water through the steamer to flush out any vinegar residue. Perform descaling every 3-6 months depending on usage and water hardness.
  • Storage: Empty the water tank completely before storing. Fold the steamer and store it in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging or a dedicated storage container.
