4. Setup and Installation
The FIREGAS range hood is designed for wall-mount installation and can be configured for either ducted (vented outside) or ductless (recirculating) operation. The necessary CC110 charcoal filters for ductless conversion are included.
4.1 Installation Type
- Ducted Installation: Connect the included duct pipe to an external vent. This method provides the most effective removal of cooking fumes.
- Ductless (Recirculating) Installation: Install the CC110 charcoal filters. Air is filtered and recirculated back into the kitchen.
4.2 Wall Mounting

4.3 Chimney and Ceiling Height
The adjustable chimney allows for installation in kitchens with ceiling heights between 7.5 to 8.5 feet. For higher ceilings (9-10 ft.), an optional extension chimney (Model: FGS-TD24S-ZST) can be purchased separately.

5. Operating Instructions
The FIREGAS range hood features a user-friendly touch control panel for easy operation.
5.1 Control Panel Functions
- Power Button: Turns the unit On/Off.
- Fan Speed Control: Select from 3 speeds (Low, Medium, High) to suit your cooking needs. The 450 CFM exhaust fan effectively removes smoke and odors.
- Light Button: Activates the 2 x 1.5W LED lights, providing ample illumination for your cooking area.
- Timer Function: Allows you to set a timed operation, so the hood can turn off automatically after a set period.

6.1 Baffle Filters
The two baffle filters are made of 20-gauge brushed stainless steel and are designed to effectively trap grease. They are dishwasher safe and reusable. For best results, clean them regularly, depending on your cooking frequency.

6.2 Charcoal Filters (for Ductless Use)
