3.1 Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your Milerong A25 Dash Cam:
- Clean the windshield area where the dash cam will be mounted to ensure a strong suction.
- Attach the suction cup mount to the windshield, ensuring it is securely fastened and does not obstruct your view.
- Connect the main dash cam unit to the suction mount.
- Route the power cable from the dash cam to your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. Use the included wire trim tool and cable hiding clips to neatly tuck away the cable along the windshield and dashboard edges.
- Install the rear camera. Connect the rear camera cable to the main dash cam unit. Route the cable to the rear of your vehicle. For reverse assist functionality, connect the red wire from the rear camera cable to your vehicle's reversing lamp positive lead.

3.2 Initial Setup
Before first use, it is crucial to format your new memory card directly on the dash cam. This ensures compatibility and optimal performance. We recommend using a Class 10 high-speed micro Memory Card, with a maximum capacity of 64 GB.
To format the card:
- Insert the memory card into the dash cam.
- Power on the dash cam.
- Navigate to the settings menu (usually by pressing the 'M' button).
- Locate the 'Format' option and confirm to format the card.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when connected to your vehicle's power supply and the ignition is turned on. It will power off automatically when the ignition is turned off.
- Recording: The dash cam continuously records video in a loop. When the memory card is full, the oldest unprotected files will be overwritten.
- Emergency Lock: The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or rapid acceleration/deceleration. When triggered, the current video segment is automatically locked and saved to prevent it from being overwritten by loop recording.

4.2 Display and Settings
- Screen Saver: To have the screen turn off while the dash cam continues recording, enable the "Screen Saver" option in the settings.
- Motion Detection: This feature allows the camera to start recording when it detects movement. For seamless video recording while driving, it is recommended to turn off "Motion Detection" and "Parking Monitor" functions.
- Parking Monitor: When enabled, the dash cam will automatically record if it detects a collision or motion while the vehicle is parked.
- G-Sensor Sensitivity: If you frequently encounter "card full" messages despite loop recording being active, adjust the G-sensor sensitivity to 'Low' or turn it off. This prevents minor bumps or vibrations from triggering emergency recordings too often.

To review recorded footage:
- Stop recording (if active) by pressing the OK button.
- Press the Mode button to switch to playback mode.
- Use the navigation buttons to select the desired video file.
