Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge your LifeJacket XL Jolt. Connect the included charger to the speaker's charging port and plug it into a power outlet. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.
2. Powering On/Off
Press and hold the Power button located on the speaker's control panel for approximately 3 seconds to turn the speaker on or off. A sound prompt will indicate power status.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a flashing Bluetooth LED).
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "LifeJacket XL Jolt" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth LED will become solid, and a confirmation tone will sound.
Operating Instructions
Playing Audio
After successful Bluetooth pairing, you can play audio from your connected device. Use the volume controls on the speaker or your device to adjust the playback volume. The speaker also features play/pause and track skip buttons.
Adjusting Light Modes
The LifeJacket XL Jolt features 5 distinct light modes. Press the Light Mode button (usually indicated by a lightbulb icon) to cycle through the available lighting effects. These lights can pulse, fade, or shine to complement your music.
True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
To pair two LifeJacket XL Jolt speakers for True Wireless Stereo sound:
- Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the TWS pairing button (often indicated by two interlocking circles).
- The primary speaker will search for the secondary speaker. Once connected, both speakers will emit a confirmation tone.
- Now, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing" section. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.
Using the Qi Wireless Charger
Place your Qi-compatible smartphone directly on the designated wireless charging pad on top of the speaker. Ensure the phone is centered for optimal charging. The charging indicator on your phone will confirm charging status. This feature works even when the speaker is playing music or powered off, as long as the speaker has sufficient battery or is connected to power.
Using USB Charging Ports
Connect your device's USB charging cable to one of the USB output ports on the speaker. This allows you to charge non-Qi compatible devices or devices that require a wired connection.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure all port covers are securely closed before cleaning with water.
Storage
Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery periodically to maintain its lifespan.
Water Resistance
The LifeJacket XL Jolt is designed to be waterproof. However, ensure all port covers are firmly sealed before exposing the speaker to water. After exposure to water, especially saltwater or chlorinated water, rinse the speaker with fresh water and allow it to air dry completely before charging or opening any ports.
