5. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On System: First, turn on the receiver unit using its power button. The orange LED displays for each channel should illuminate, showing their respective frequencies.
  2. Power On Bodypacks: Next, turn on each bodypack transmitter using the ON/OFF switch. The bodypack's display will show its operating frequency. Ensure the bodypack's frequency matches one of the receiver's channels.
  3. Adjust Volume: Use the individual volume control knobs on the front panel of the receiver to adjust the output level for each microphone channel. Start with a low volume and gradually increase it to avoid feedback.
  4. Microphone Usage: Position the lavalier microphone approximately 6-8 inches from your mouth, clipped to clothing. For headset microphones, position the boom arm so the microphone is near the corner of your mouth.
  5. Monitoring: Monitor the audio output through your connected sound system. The RF and AF indicators on the receiver will show signal presence and audio level.
  6. Range: Maintain a line of sight between the bodypack transmitters and the receiver for optimal performance, up to 350 feet. Obstacles can reduce this range.
  7. Power Off: When finished, first turn off all bodypack transmitters, then power off the receiver unit.

6. Maintenance

  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in bodypack transmitters when the low battery indicator appears on the bodypack display or when audio quality degrades. Always use fresh 1.5V AA batteries. Remove batteries if the system will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
  • Cleaning: Clean the receiver and bodypack transmitters with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the unit. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the system in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Antenna Care: Handle antennas carefully. Do not bend them excessively or apply undue force.
