Each alarm unit consists of the main alarm body and a remote control. The alarm unit houses the siren, vibration sensor, and battery compartment.

4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

The alarm units come with 3 AA batteries pre-installed. If replacement is needed:

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the alarm unit.
  2. Open the cover using a small screwdriver.
  3. Insert 3 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

The remote control uses a CR2032 button cell battery. To replace:

  1. Gently pry open the remote control casing.
  2. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
  3. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive side facing up.
  4. Close the remote control casing.

4.2. Mounting the Alarm Unit

The alarm unit can be mounted using either double-sided stickers or cable ties, depending on the surface and desired security level.

5.1. Remote Control Functions

5.2. Adjusting Sensitivity

The alarm has 7 levels of adjustable sensitivity. To change the sensitivity level:

  1. Ensure the alarm is disarmed.
  2. Press and hold the Change Tone Button (Lightning Bolt Icon) until the alarm unit emits a short beep.
  3. Each subsequent press of the Change Tone Button will cycle through the sensitivity levels, indicated by a corresponding number of beeps (1 beep for lowest sensitivity, 7 beeps for highest).
  4. Once you reach the desired sensitivity level, press the Arm Button (Locked Padlock Icon) to save the setting and arm the alarm.

5.3. Adjusting Volume

The alarm features 3 levels of adjustable volume. To change the volume level:

  1. Ensure the alarm is disarmed.
  2. Press and hold the Vehicle Search Button (Bell Icon) until the alarm unit emits a short beep.
  3. Each subsequent press of the Vehicle Search Button will cycle through the volume levels, indicated by a corresponding number of beeps (1 beep for lowest volume, 3 beeps for highest).
  4. Once you reach the desired volume level, press the Arm Button (Locked Padlock Icon) to save the setting and arm the alarm.

5.4. Pairing Additional Remotes (If Applicable)

If you need to pair an additional remote control to an alarm unit:

  1. Ensure the alarm is disarmed.
  2. Press and hold the Disarm Button (Unlocked Padlock Icon) on the alarm unit's existing remote for approximately 3 seconds until the alarm unit emits a long beep. This indicates it is in pairing mode.
  3. Within 5 seconds, press the Arm Button (Locked Padlock Icon) on the new remote control you wish to pair. The alarm unit will beep once to confirm successful pairing.
  4. Test the new remote control to ensure it functions correctly.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Battery Replacement

Refer to Section 4.1 for detailed instructions on replacing batteries for both the alarm unit and the remote control. Replace batteries promptly when the alarm unit's sound becomes weak or the remote control's range decreases.

6.2. Cleaning

Wipe the alarm unit and remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the device's casing or internal components. Ensure the unit is dry before use, especially after exposure to rain.

6.3. Storage

If storing the alarm for an extended period, remove the batteries from both the alarm unit and the remote control to prevent leakage and damage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
