2. Safety Instructions
- Initial Setup: Allow the ice maker to stand upright for at least 24 hours before its first use. This allows the refrigerant to settle properly, preventing potential damage to the compressor.
- Water Hardness: The factory default setting for this product is "tap water iron mode." If using pure water, it is necessary to adjust the water hardness setting to 0 to ensure optimal performance and prevent issues.
- Cleaning: Before cleaning the internal components, always cut off the tap water source. Then, open the ball valve in the ice bucket to drain any remaining water. Failure to do so may result in water not entering the machine correctly after cleaning.
- Water Supply Valve: Ensure the ball valve in the ice bucket is turned off before using tap water to prevent overflow.
- Placement: Do not place the ice maker in direct sunlight or near heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure the power supply matches the specifications of the machine (110 Volts AC, 120 watts). Do not use damaged power cords or plugs.

4. Setup
- Placement: Position the ice maker on a stable, level surface. Ensure there is sufficient clearance around the unit for proper ventilation.
- Initial Stand Time: After unboxing, allow the machine to stand upright for 24 hours before plugging it in or operating it. This is crucial for the compressor's longevity.
- Water Supply Connection: The ice maker supports two water supply methods:
- Direct Water Line: Connect the provided 60-inch water supply hose to a potable water source using the connector.
- Bucket Water Supply: Alternatively, the machine can be supplied with water from a bucket. Ensure the bucket is positioned correctly to allow water inflow.
