Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To clean the Mondo Elite, use a soft, dry cloth. For the display, a slightly damp, lint-free cloth can be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray cleaners directly on the unit.
2. Screen Care
To prevent potential image retention or "burn-in" on the TFT screen, especially when displaying static images for extended periods, it is recommended to utilize the radio's screen saver features or adjust backlight settings. Avoid leaving the display on a single static image for prolonged durations.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Mondo Elite radio, consider the following common solutions:
- No Power: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the radio and a working electrical outlet.
- Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues:
- Verify your Wi-Fi password is correct.
- Ensure the radio is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
- Restart your Wi-Fi router and the Mondo Elite radio.
- If experiencing frequent drops, try reconnecting to your Wi-Fi network through the radio's settings.
- Audio Cutting Out (Chromecast): If streaming via Chromecast results in audio interruptions, ensure your Wi-Fi network is stable and has sufficient bandwidth. Try restarting the radio and the casting device.
- USB Playback Issues: Ensure the USB device is formatted correctly and contains supported audio file types (AIFF, AIFC, WAVE, CAF, NeXT, ADTS, MP3, AAC, HE-AAC v2, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, WMA).
- Screen Display Issues: If you notice persistent images or anomalies on the screen, ensure the screen saver is enabled and consider adjusting backlight settings. Avoid prolonged display of static content.
