1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Ensenior 4 Inch LED Recessed Light. This ultra-thin, canless wafer ceiling light is designed for easy installation and provides high brightness with energy efficiency. This model features a 6000K Clear White color temperature, 750 lumens, and consumes only 9 watts at 120V. It is damp rated, making it suitable for various indoor environments, and is ETL, FCC, and IC certified for safety and quality.

4. Setup & Installation

Follow these steps for a hassle-free installation:

1. Prepare the Hole: Use the provided cutting template to mark and cut a hole in your ceiling. The recommended hole size is between 4.25" and 4.6" (10.8cm - 11.7cm).
2. Connect Wiring: Open the junction box. Connect the household electrical wires (live, neutral, ground) to the corresponding UL listed terminals inside the junction box. Ensure all connections are secure.
3. Connect Light Panel: Connect the cable from the recessed light panel to the cable from the junction box. Ensure the connection is firm.
4. Mount the Light: Push the spring clips on the sides of the light panel upwards. Insert the light into the prepared ceiling hole. The spring clips will automatically snap down to secure the light flush against the ceiling.

5. Operating Instructions

The Ensenior 4 Inch LED Recessed Light is designed for simple operation.

• Power On/Off: Use a standard wall switch to turn the light on or off.
• Dimming: This light is 5%-100% dimmable. Connect it to a compatible dimmer switch to adjust the brightness level according to your preference.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the surface of the light. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish or electrical components.
• Inspection: Periodically inspect the light and wiring for any signs of damage or loose connections. If any issues are found, consult a qualified electrician.
• Environment: While damp rated, avoid direct water contact to prevent damage and reduced lifespan.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Ensenior LED Recessed Light, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• Light Does Not Turn On:
  • Check if the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
  • Verify that the circuit breaker for the lighting circuit has not tripped.
  • Ensure all wiring connections in the junction box are secure.
  • Confirm the connection between the light panel and the junction box is properly seated.
• Light Flickers or Hums:
  • Ensure you are using a compatible LED dimmer switch. Refer to the dimmer compatibility guide in Section 5.
  • Check for loose wiring connections at the switch or in the junction box.
  • If using multiple lights on one dimmer, ensure the total wattage does not exceed the dimmer's capacity.
• Inconsistent Brightness:
  • If using multiple lights, ensure they are all set to the same color temperature (if applicable for your model). This model is fixed at 6000K.
  • Verify that the dimmer is functioning correctly and providing consistent power.
