Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective film.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the unit. The POWER indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Select Ice Size: Press the SELECT button to choose between small (S) or large (L) bullet-shaped ice cubes. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Ice Making Cycle: The ice maker will begin its ice-making cycle. The first batch of ice may take slightly longer to form. Subsequent batches will be ready in approximately 6-8 minutes.
  4. Indicators:
    • ADD WATER: This light will illuminate when the water reservoir needs refilling. Add water as described in the 'Setup' section.
    • ICE FULL: This light will illuminate when the ice basket is full. Remove ice to continue production.
  5. Collecting Ice: Use the provided ice scoop to remove ice from the basket.

Ice Cube Sizes

The Kismile ice maker produces bullet-shaped ice cubes, which are smooth and less likely to hurt your hands. You can choose between two sizes:

  • Small (S): Ideal for quickly chilling drinks.
  • Large (L): Provides longer-lasting cooling for beverages.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and healthy ice production.

  1. Self-Cleaning Program: Press and hold the ON/OFF button for more than 5 seconds to activate the self-cleaning function. This program helps remove mineral buildup from the ice-making process, ensuring purer ice cubes.
  2. Manual Cleaning: The top cover features a fully open design, allowing for easy access to the interior for thorough manual cleaning. Use a soft cloth with mild detergent and water to wipe down surfaces. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Drain Water: Locate the water drain cap at the front bottom side of the unit. Remove the cap to drain any remaining water from the reservoir.
  4. Drying: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing the ice maker.
