Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back or bottom of the alarm clock.
2. Slide or lift the cover to open the compartment.
3. Insert 2 x AA batteries (not included), ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover securely.
5. The display should light up, indicating the clock is powered on.

2. Initial Power On

Upon inserting batteries, the clock will power on. You may need to set the time and other preferences immediately.

Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the buttons on the device, typically located on the back or top. Common buttons include MODE, SET, UP/+, DOWN/-, ALARM, SNOOZE/LIGHT, TALKING/TEMP.

Setting the Time

1. Press the MODE button repeatedly until the time setting mode is activated (e.g., hours flashing).
2. Use the UP/+ and DOWN/- buttons to adjust the hours.
3. Press MODE again to move to minutes, then adjust using UP/+ and DOWN/-.

Setting the Alarm

1. Press the ALARM button to enter alarm setting mode. The alarm time will flash.

4. Press ALARM again to confirm and activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display.
5. To deactivate the alarm, press the ALARM button until the alarm icon disappears.

Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to temporarily silence the alarm. The alarm will sound again after a few minutes (typically 5-10 minutes). To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button (e.g., ALARM or MODE).

Time and Temperature Announcement

Press the TALKING/TEMP button to hear the current time and temperature announced verbally. Repeated presses may cycle through different announcement modes or temperature units (Celsius/Fahrenheit).

Volume Control

Look for dedicated volume buttons (VOL+ / VOL-) or a combination with other buttons (e.g., holding TALKING/TEMP and pressing UP/+ or DOWN/-) to adjust the announcement and alarm volume.

Hourly Chime
