5. Installation

The Kungfuking LLW-W1 Recessed Pop-Up Power Strip is designed for flush mounting into a surface. Follow these steps for proper installation:

1. Prepare the Surface: Choose a suitable location on your table, desk, or countertop. Ensure there is enough clearance underneath for the power strip and its cable.
2. Mark the Cutout: Use the provided card model template to accurately mark the cutout area on the surface. The required cutout hole size is 8.84" (L) x 4.33" (W) x 2.67" (H).

3. Cut the Hole: Drill pilot holes in the corners of the marked area. Use a jigsaw or appropriate cutting tool to carefully cut out the rectangular opening.
4. Insert the Power Strip: Gently place the power strip into the cut hole, ensuring it sits flush with the surface.

5. Secure with Brackets: From underneath the surface, attach the mounting brackets to the sides of the power strip using the provided screws. Tighten the screws to secure the unit firmly in place.

6. Connect to Power: Plug the power strip's 6-foot cord into a standard 125V wall outlet.

6. Operation

Operating your Kungfuking LLW-W1 Recessed Pop-Up Power Strip is straightforward:

1. To Pop Up: Gently press the oval-shaped button located in the center of the top panel. The unit will smoothly rise, revealing the two AC outlets and two USB charging ports.
2. To Use: Plug your electronic devices into the available AC outlets or connect your USB-compatible devices to the USB ports for charging.
3. To Retract: When not in use, gently press down on the top panel of the unit until it locks securely and sits flush with the surface. This keeps your workspace neat and protects the outlets from dust and spills.
