The Clover Station PRO is a fast, dual-screen Point of Sale (POS) system designed to streamline business transactions. This all-in-one system features a primary 14-inch HD display for the merchant and an 8-inch customer-facing touchscreen, facilitating efficient order processing, payment, and customer interaction. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your Clover Station PRO.

5. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack and Place: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Place the main unit, customer display, and cash drawer in their desired locations on a stable counter.
  2. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the main unit and plug it into a suitable power outlet.
  3. Connect Peripherals:
    • Ensure the customer-facing display is securely connected to the main unit.
    • Connect the cash drawer cable to the designated port on the main unit or integrated printer.
  4. Power On: Press the power button on the main unit to turn on the system.
  5. Initial Software Configuration: Follow the on-screen prompts for initial setup, including network connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) and language selection.
  6. Merchant Account Activation: The Clover Station PRO requires a merchant processing account through Powering POS. Contact Powering POS to activate your account and configure your system for payment processing. The device cannot be used with a different processor.
  7. Load Printer Paper: Open the printer cover, insert a new roll of thermal receipt paper, and close the cover.

6. Operating Instructions

The Clover Station PRO is designed for intuitive operation. Here are general steps for common tasks:

  1. Processing Transactions:
    • Navigate to the "Register" or "Sales" application on the merchant display.
    • Select items from your menu or input custom amounts.
    • The customer-facing display will show the order details for confirmation.
    • Proceed to payment. Customers can use the customer display to confirm their order, add a tip, redeem rewards, and select payment methods.
    • Complete the transaction. The integrated printer will print a receipt, or a digital receipt can be sent.
  2. Managing Inventory and Menu:
    • Access the "Inventory" or "Items" application to add, edit, or remove products and services.
    • Organize items into categories for easy navigation during sales.
  3. Running Reports:
    • Use the "Reports" application to view sales data, transaction history, and other business analytics.
    • Reports can be customized by date range and other filters.
  4. Staff Management:
    • The system allows for creating and managing staff accounts with different access permissions.
