1. Introduction

4. Setup

1. Charge the Device: Before first use, fully charge the CRP919X Lite using the provided DC charging cable and appropriate adapter. The device has a 6000mAh battery.
2. Power On: Press and hold the power button to turn on the device.
3. Initial Setup: Follow the on-screen prompts to select your preferred language, time zone, and connect to a Wi-Fi network. A stable Wi-Fi connection is essential for updates and online features.
4. Connect to Vehicle: Locate the vehicle's OBDII port, typically under the dashboard on the driver's side. Connect the OBDII cable from the CRP919X Lite to the vehicle's OBDII port. Ensure the connection is secure.
5. Ignition On: Turn the vehicle's ignition to the 'ON' position (engine off).

5. Operating Instructions

After successful setup and connection, you can begin using the diagnostic functions:

5.1. Auto VIN Scan

1. From the main menu, select 'Diagnose'.
2. Choose 'Auto Scan' or 'Auto VIN'. The device will attempt to automatically detect the vehicle's VIN and initiate a full system scan.
3. If Auto VIN fails, you may need to manually select the vehicle make, model, and year.

5.2. Full System Diagnostics

1. After vehicle identification, select 'Health Report' or 'System Scan'.
2. The scanner will perform a comprehensive scan of all available electronic control units (ECUs).
3. Review the scan results, which will display detected DTCs, live data streams, and ECU information.
4. To clear DTCs, select the 'Clear DTCs' option after addressing the underlying issues.

5.3. Special Functions (Reset Services & Active Tests)

1. From the main menu, select 'Reset' for maintenance services or 'Active Test' for bidirectional control.
