  • Manual Mode: Allows you to manually set the flash power output. This mode provides precise control over lighting. The flash offers 8 power levels, each with 3 fine-tuning adjustments for flexible brightness control.
  • TTL Mode (Through-The-Lens): The flash automatically determines the appropriate light output based on the camera's metering system. This is ideal for quick shooting and changing light conditions.
  • Multi Mode: Fires the flash multiple times during a single exposure, creating stroboscopic effects.
  • Lamp A Flashing / Lamp B Flashing: Allows independent control over the left (Lamp A) and right (Lamp B) flash tubes, enabling creative lighting ratios and shadow control.
  • All Flash: Both flash tubes fire simultaneously.
  • Long Brightness Mode (LED Assist Lamp): The built-in LED AF assist lamp can be used for continuous lighting or to aid in focusing in low-light environments.

Flash Exposure Compensation (FEC)

In TTL mode, you can adjust the flash exposure compensation in 1/3-stop increments to fine-tune the brightness of your flash output.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the flash unit. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store the flash in a cool, dry place, preferably in its carrying bag, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Handling: Avoid dropping or subjecting the flash to strong impacts.
