Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure safe and optimal performance.
2. Important Safety Instructions
- Read all instructions before using the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
- Do not immerse cord, plug, or any part of the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Use only potable water for ice making.

4. Setup
Unpack the Ice Maker: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all accessories (ice scoop, ice basket) are present.
Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
Clean Before First Use: It is recommended to clean the ice maker before its first use. Refer to the "Maintenance" section for cleaning instructions.
Fill Water Reservoir: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.

Connect Power: Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the appliance's requirements.
5. Operating Instructions
The SOOPYK ice maker is designed for simple and convenient operation.
Start Ice Making: After filling the water reservoir and plugging in the unit, press the ON/OFF button. The power indicator light will illuminate.

Ice Production Cycle: The ice maker will begin its cycle. Each cycle produces 9 bullet-shaped ice cubes in approximately 5-7 minutes. The unit can produce up to 27 lbs of ice in 24 hours.

Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the "Ice Full" indicator light will illuminate, and the ice making process will pause. Remove ice from the basket to resume operation.
Add Water Indicator: If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the "Lack of Water" indicator light will illuminate. Add more water to the reservoir to continue ice production.
Automatic Water Recycling: Unused ice that melts in the basket will automatically drain back into the water reservoir to be recycled for the next ice-making cycle.
Stopping Operation: To stop the ice maker at any time, press the ON/OFF button. The unit will enter standby mode.
6. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ice maker.
6.1. Self-Cleaning Function
Initiate Self-Clean: Pour water into the ice maker's reservoir. Plug in the power cord. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds.
Cleaning Cycle: The unit will begin its self-cleaning cycle, where the pump circulates water into the ice-making box. This process repeats for approximately 10 minutes.

Drain Water: After the self-cleaning cycle completes and the unit returns to standby mode, drain the water from the tank using the underside drain plug.
Refill: Refill the water tank with fresh potable water before resuming ice production.
6.2. Manual Cleaning
- Always unplug the ice maker before cleaning.
- Remove the ice basket and clean it with mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent.
- For stubborn stains, a mixture of water and vinegar can be used. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and operating the unit.
- Regularly clean the air vents to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating.
