1. Safety Information

Please read this manual carefully before using the LIONELO Julie One stroller. Keep this manual for future reference.

WARNING: This product is not suitable for running or skating. The stroller is designed for children up to 4 years old or 22 kg (whichever comes first).

• Always use the 5-point safety harness.
• Ensure all locking devices are engaged before use.
• Do not leave the child unattended in the stroller.
• Do not overload the storage basket.
• This product is compliant with European safety standards EN 1888-1:2018 and EN 1888-2:2018.

2. Product Overview

The LIONELO Julie One is a lightweight and compact stroller designed for comfort and convenience, suitable for children from birth up to 22 kg (approximately 48 months). Its features make it ideal for daily use and travel.

Key Features:

• Compact Folding System: Allows the stroller to be folded quickly to compact dimensions, making it easy for travel. Includes a carrying bag.
• Adjustable Backrest and Footrest: The backrest can be smoothly adjusted from a sitting to a lying position, and the footrest is also adjustable, ensuring comfort in all situations.

4. Setup

The LIONELO Julie One stroller arrives mostly assembled. Follow these steps to prepare it for use:

1. Unfolding the Stroller:

   Locate the folding mechanism, typically on the handle or side of the frame. Release the safety latch and gently pull the handle upwards until the frame locks into place. Ensure both sides are securely locked. You should hear an audible click.

2. Attaching the Wheels:

   If the wheels are not pre-attached, insert the wheel axles into the designated slots on the stroller frame until they click securely into place. Pull gently on the wheels to ensure they are firmly attached.

3. Attaching the Safety Bar:

   Align the safety bar with the attachment points on the side of the seat unit and push until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely fastened before placing the child in the stroller.
4. Attaching Accessories:

   Attach the cup holder to the designated slot on the handle. The mosquito net and leg warmer can be placed over the stroller as needed.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Adjusting the Backrest and Footrest

The backrest and footrest can be adjusted to provide optimal comfort for your child, from an upright sitting position to a full recline for naps.

1. Backrest Adjustment: Locate the adjustment mechanism at the back of the seat. Depending on the model, this may be a strap with a buckle or a lever. Release the mechanism to recline the backrest or pull the strap/push the lever to raise it to the desired position.
2. Footrest Adjustment: Press the buttons or levers on either side of the footrest to adjust its angle. Ensure it clicks into place at the desired height.

5.2. Using the 5-Point Safety Harness and Safety Bar

Always secure your child with the 5-point safety harness when they are in the stroller.

1. Securing the Harness: Place the child in the seat. Bring the shoulder straps over the child's shoulders and the waist straps around their hips. Insert the buckles from the shoulder and waist straps into the central buckle until they click.
2. Adjusting the Harness: Pull the adjustment straps to tighten or loosen the harness for a snug and secure fit. Ensure the harness is not twisted.
3. Releasing the Harness: Press the button on the central buckle to release all straps.
4. Safety Bar: The safety bar provides additional security. It can be opened from either side by pressing the release buttons, allowing for easy placement and removal of the child.

5.3. Brake System

The stroller is equipped with a convenient foot-operated brake on the rear wheels.

1. Engaging the Brake: Press down firmly on the brake pedal located near the rear wheels until it locks into place. Always engage the brake when parking the stroller.
2. Releasing the Brake: Lift the brake pedal upwards until it disengages.

5.4. Folding the Stroller

The quick folding system allows for compact storage and transport.

1. Ensure the backrest is in an upright position and the canopy is folded back.
2. Locate the folding release mechanism (usually a button or lever on the handle or frame).
3. Activate the mechanism and push the handle forward or down, following the stroller's natural folding motion until it locks into its compact folded state.
4. Use the included carrying bag for easy transport.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will prolong the life and ensure the safety of your LIONELO Julie One stroller.

• Cleaning the Fabric: The fabric cover is removable and can be hand washed at a maximum of 30°C. Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron, or dry clean.
• Cleaning the Frame: Wipe the metal and plastic parts of the frame with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry thoroughly.
• Wheel Maintenance: Regularly check the wheels for debris and clean them. The PU wheels are maintenance-free.
• Lubrication: Periodically lubricate moving parts (e.g., folding mechanism, wheel axles) with a silicone-based lubricant to ensure smooth operation.
• Storage: Store the stroller in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
