Customization and Advanced Features

The Push Button Transmitter includes internal switches for advanced customization of its radio signal and notification patterns. These settings are typically in their default position to work with all standard Bellman & Symfon Visit receivers out of the box.

  • Radio Key Switch: Located in the top left corner internally, this switch is usually set to its default position for broad compatibility.
  • Signal Pattern Switch: This switch allows you to configure the transmitter to trigger different notification patterns (e.g., specific sounds, flashes, or vibrations) on your receiver.

Unless you specifically need to customize the system's behavior, these switches do not require adjustment. For detailed instructions on customizing these settings, please refer to the separate advanced instruction video or the comprehensive user manual.

Maintenance

The Push Button Transmitter is powered by a 6-volt alkaline battery, designed for long-lasting operation, typically up to two years. When the battery needs replacement, ensure you use a compatible 6V battery (PXZ8A / 4LR44 / V625PX / A544). Regular cleaning with a soft, dry cloth is recommended to maintain the device's appearance and functionality.

Troubleshooting

If the Push Button Transmitter is not functioning as expected, consider the following:

  • No Signal: Check if the green LED on the transmitter lights up when pressed. If not, the battery may need replacement.
  • Receiver Not Responding: Ensure the Visit receiver is powered on and within the effective range of the transmitter (up to 80 meters / 260 feet in open field). Obstacles like thick walls can reduce range.
  • Incorrect Alert Pattern: If the receiver provides an unexpected alert, check the signal pattern switch settings inside the transmitter and ensure they match your desired configuration on the receiver.
  • Interference: Other wireless devices might cause interference. Try moving the transmitter or receiver to a different location.
