4. Setup and First Use

2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the maximum fill line (1.7L). Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Boiling Water Only

1. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water, ensuring it is between the minimum and maximum fill lines (0.5L to 1.7L).
2. Place the kettle securely on the power base.
3. Press the "On/Off" button to activate the kettle.
4. Select the desired temperature using the temperature control buttons (e.g., 100°C for boiling).
5. The kettle will begin heating and automatically shut off once the selected temperature is reached.

5.2. Brewing Tea with Automatic Infuser

The automatic tea infuser system allows for precise brewing of loose leaf tea.

1. Open the lid and fill the stainless steel tea infuser basket with your desired amount of loose leaf tea. Close the infuser basket.
2. Fill the kettle with fresh water, observing the maximum fill line for tea (1.0L for tea, 0.8L for minimum tea).
3. Place the kettle securely on the power base.
4. Press the "On/Off" button.
5. Select one of the 5 predefined temperatures suitable for your tea type (e.g., green tea, black tea, herbal tea).
6. Set the desired brewing time using the timer controls.
7. Adjust the tea strength setting if available, to modify the intensity of the tea flavor.
8. Once the water reaches the selected temperature, the tea infuser basket will automatically lower into the water.
9. After the set brewing time, the infuser basket will automatically raise, preventing over-steeping.
10. The kettle will then enter a keep-warm mode if activated, maintaining the temperature for a set period.

5.3. Keep Warm Function

After heating or brewing, the kettle can maintain the water/tea at a specific temperature for a period. Refer to the control panel for activating and setting the duration of the keep-warm function.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your tea kettle.

6.1. General Cleaning

1. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Never immerse the kettle body or the power base in water or any other liquid.

• Using Vinegar:
  1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar. Add water until the bottom of the kettle is completely covered.
  2. Allow this solution to sit in the kettle for several hours (or overnight for heavy scale). Do not boil the vinegar solution.
  3. Empty the vinegar mixture. Rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water several times until the vinegar odor is eliminated.
  4. If any stains remain in the spout, wipe them with a damp cloth.

After descaling, boil a full kettle of fresh water and discard it to ensure no descaling agent residue remains.
