Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, setup, and maintenance of your Mxmoonant 12-Head Ultrasonic Mist Maker. Please read all instructions carefully before use to ensure proper function and longevity of the product.

Safety Information

  • Do not immerse the power supply unit in water.
  • Ensure the mist maker board is always submerged in water during operation.
  • Operate within the recommended water temperature range of 5-45°C. The device features overheating protection and will automatically stop if the temperature exceeds 45°C.
  • Do not operate the mist maker for more than 8-10 hours continuously per day. Allow for rest intervals to extend service life.
  • Use clean tap water. Avoid pure water or alkaline water, as these can affect atomization. If local water is alkaline, adding a small amount of vinegar may help.
  • Do not add essential oils or other substances to the water, as this can damage the unit.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Setup

1. Connecting the Components

  1. Connect the mist maker board to the power supply by aligning the arrows on the connectors and inserting them firmly. Ensure a tight connection to prevent water ingress.
  2. If using the float, secure the mist maker board to the float using the provided screws. This keeps the mist maker at the optimal water level in deeper containers.

2. Placement in Water

Place the assembled mist maker (with or without the float, depending on water depth) into your water container. The mist maker board requires submersion in 5-7 cm of water for optimal performance. If the water depth is greater than 6-8 cm, using the float is recommended to maintain the proper water level.

Operation

The Mxmoonant 12-Head Ultrasonic Mist Maker is designed for continuous mist generation when properly set up. The unit will automatically stop if the water level is too low, thanks to its capacitive sensing head.

  • Ensure the mist maker is always submerged in water (5-7 cm deep) during operation.
  • The working indicating light (blue LED) means the board is functioning correctly.
  • For optimal performance, operate the unit in water temperatures between 5°C and 45°C.
  • Do not operate for more than 8-10 hours daily to prevent overheating and prolong the product's lifespan.

Maintenance

1. Ceramic Disc Replacement

The ceramic discs are consumables and require regular inspection and replacement. A key is provided for this purpose.

  1. Use the provided key to unscrew the retaining ring counter-clockwise.
  2. Carefully remove the old ceramic disc and its components.
  3. Ensure all water is dried from the chamber before installing a new disc.
  4. Place the new ceramic disc with the white side (front) facing up.
  5. Reassemble the components in the correct order and firmly tighten the retaining ring clockwise to prevent water leakage.

Ceramic discs typically last about 1000-2000 hours depending on the environment. It is recommended to replace them quarterly.
