1. Introduction

Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions before using this heater. Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, electric shock, injury to persons, or property damage. Keep this manual for future reference.

This heater is designed for indoor use only.
Do not use this heater in bathrooms, laundry areas, or similar locations where it may come into contact with water.
Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug, or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
Always unplug heater when not in use.

2. Setup

Unpacking

Carefully remove the heater from its packaging.
Inspect the heater for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not use and contact Vornado Customer Service.
Retain the packaging for off-season storage or future transport.

Placement

Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance around the heater for proper airflow. Do not place the heater directly under a power outlet.

OFF (O): Turns the heater off.
FAN ONLY: Activates the fan without heat, useful for air circulation.
LOW HEAT: Provides a lower heat output (375W) for gentle warmth.
HIGH HEAT: Provides a higher heat output (750W) for faster heating.

Initial Operation

Plug the heater into a grounded 120V AC outlet.
Turn the control dial to your desired setting (LOW, HIGH, or FAN ONLY).
The heater will begin to operate. Allow a few minutes for the heat to disperse.

4. Maintenance

Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain the performance and longevity of your heater.

Always unplug the heater before cleaning.
Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust from the air intake and exhaust grilles.
Ensure the heater is completely dry before plugging it back in.
