Setup Instructions
- Insert Batteries (Optional): Open the waterproof battery box. Insert 3 AA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings. Close the battery box securely to maintain its IP65 waterproof rating.
- Connect USB Power (Optional): Alternatively, connect the provided USB cable to the mini-USB port on the battery box and plug the other end into a 5V USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port).
- Placement: Carefully uncoil the string lights. Place or hang the lights in your desired indoor or outdoor location. Ensure the battery box or USB connection point is protected from extreme weather if using outdoors, despite its waterproof rating.
- Remote Control Battery: The remote control comes with a CR2 battery pre-installed. Remove the plastic tab from the battery compartment before first use.
Operating Instructions
Use the included remote control to operate the string lights. Ensure the remote is pointed towards the battery box/receiver for optimal functionality.
Remote Control Functions:
- ON/OFF: Press the ON button to turn the lights on, and OFF to turn them off.
- Color Selection: Use the color buttons (R, G, B, W, and other color squares) to select a fixed color.
- Dynamic Modes: Press the FADE, JUMP, ASYN FADE, ASYN JUMP, TWINKLE, BREATHING, IN WAVES, STROBE buttons to cycle through 128 different dynamic lighting effects.
- Brightness Adjustment: Use the Brightness +/- buttons to increase or decrease the light intensity. There are 4 levels of brightness (100%, 75%, 50%, 25%).
- Speed Adjustment: Use the SPEED +/- buttons to adjust the speed of dynamic modes.
- Timer Function: Press 4H, 6H, or 8H to activate the timer. The lights will automatically turn on for the selected duration each day and then turn off. To deactivate the timer, press the TIMER OFF button.
Note: The button on the battery box can turn the lights on and cycle through colors, but it does not turn them off or control all functions. Use the remote for full control.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the lights with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: When not in use, carefully coil the string lights and store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
