1. Product Overview

2. Setup
2.1 Power Supply
The Lexibook Unicorn CD Player can be powered in two ways:
- AC/DC Adapter: Connect a compatible AC/DC adapter (not included) to the DC IN jack on the unit and plug it into a standard wall outlet.
- Batteries: For portable use, insert 4 x C/LR14 1.5V batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the underside of the unit. Ensure correct polarity.
2.2 Connecting Microphones
Plug the two included microphones into the designated microphone jacks on the front of the unit.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Power On/Off
Press the POWER button to turn the unit on or off.
3.2 CD Playback
- Open the CD compartment cover.
- Place a CD onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
- Close the CD compartment cover securely.
- Press the MODE button to select CD mode.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback.
- Use the SKIP buttons to navigate between tracks.
- Press the REPEAT button for single track or all track repeat functions.
- The PROGRAM function allows you to create a custom playlist. Refer to the full user manual for detailed programming instructions.
3.3 Radio Function
Press the MODE button to select FM radio mode. Use the TUNE buttons to search for radio stations. Extend the antenna for better reception.
3.4 Auxiliary Input (AUX IN)
Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX IN jack using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). Press the MODE button to select AUX mode.
3.5 USB Playback
Insert a USB flash drive containing audio files into the USB port. Press the MODE button to select USB mode. The unit will automatically begin playing compatible audio files.
3.6 Using Microphones
Once connected, the microphones will amplify your voice through the unit's speakers. Adjust the main volume control for desired microphone output level.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the CD lens clean by using a specialized CD lens cleaner.
4.2 Battery Care
Remove batteries if the unit will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.
