5. Charging the Radio
The FosPower FOSPWB-2397 offers multiple ways to recharge its internal battery:
5.1 Micro USB Charging
For the fastest and most efficient charging, connect the included Micro USB cable to the radio's Micro USB input port and a standard USB power adapter (not included).
5.2 Solar Charging
Place the radio with the solar panel facing direct sunlight. The solar panel will slowly charge the internal battery. This method is ideal for maintaining charge or for trickle charging in outdoor environments.
5.3 Hand Crank Charging
Unfold the hand crank handle and rotate it clockwise or counter-clockwise at a steady pace. Continuous cranking will generate power to charge the internal battery. This method is suitable for short bursts of power or when other charging options are unavailable.

6. Maintenance
- Keep the radio clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing the radio to extreme temperatures or direct prolonged sunlight when not in use for solar charging.
- Store the radio in a dry place.
- If using AAA batteries, remove them if the radio will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
