1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective operation, setup, and maintenance of your kolegend RC Dump Truck, Model 1540. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the product.

2. What's in the Box
Upon unpacking, please ensure all items listed below are present:

3. Setup
3.1. Battery Installation (Truck)
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the dump truck.
- Using a small Phillips head screwdriver (not included), unscrew the battery compartment cover.
- Connect the rechargeable battery to the truck's power connector.
- Carefully place the battery inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

3.2. Remote Control Battery Installation
The remote control requires 2 AA batteries (not included). Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control, insert the batteries according to the polarity markings, and close the cover.
3.3. Charging the Truck Battery
Connect the rechargeable battery to the USB charging cable. Plug the USB cable into a standard USB power adapter (e.g., phone charger, computer USB port). The indicator light on the USB cable will show charging status. Disconnect once fully charged.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Power On/Off
- Turn on the power switch located on the underside of the dump truck.
- Turn on the remote control. The indicator light on the remote will blink until it connects with the truck. Once connected, the light will become solid.
- To power off, turn off the remote control first, then the truck.
4.2. Driving Controls
The remote control features two joysticks for precise movement:
- Left Joystick: Controls forward and backward movement.
- Right Joystick: Controls left and right turning.

4.3. Dump Bed Operation
The dump bed can be raised and lowered using dedicated buttons or joystick movements on the remote control. Refer to the remote control diagram for specific button assignments.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the truck with a dry, soft cloth after each use. Avoid using water or harsh chemicals.
- Battery Care: Always fully charge the battery before storage. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery every 3 months to prolong its lifespan. Remove batteries from the remote control when not in use.
- Storage: Store the truck and remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
