Operating Instructions

Volume Control

The V7 HU540E headset features a built-in volume-limiting circuit that automatically caps the sound output at 90 dB to protect hearing. Adjust the volume directly on your connected device (computer, tablet, etc.) to your preferred listening level. The headset will ensure the volume does not exceed the safe limit.

Microphone Usage

Ensure the microphone is properly positioned near your mouth for clear voice transmission. The microphone has a sensitivity of 44dB, designed to capture clear audio while minimizing background noise. For mute functionality, use the audio controls on your connected device or application.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the headset's surfaces. For ear pads, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure they are completely dry before use. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the headset in a clean, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Avoid tangling the cable.
  • Cable Care: Do not pull on the cable to disconnect the headset. Always grasp the plug itself. Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable to prevent damage.
