Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to connect your VPFET HDMI Audio Extractor:

  1. Connect HDMI Source: Use a high-quality HDMI cable (not exceeding 2 meters for stable signal) to connect your HDMI source device (e.g., Fire TV, Blu-ray player, PS4, PS5, Xbox, PC/laptop) to the HDMI IN port on the extractor.
  2. Connect Display: Use another high-quality HDMI cable to connect the HDMI OUT port on the extractor to your TV or monitor.
  3. Connect Audio Output: Choose your desired audio output method:
    • For 2.0CH stereo audio (headphones, 2.0CH speakers): Connect a 3.5mm AUX cable to the Audio Out (AUX) port or R/L RCA cables to the Audio Out (R/L RCA) ports.
    • For 5.1CH digital audio (soundbar, amplifier): Connect an optical cable to the Audio Out (Optical) port or a coaxial cable to the Audio Out (Coaxial) port.
  4. Power On: Connect the provided Micro USB Power Cable to the USB 5V port on the extractor and plug the other end into a USB port on another device or a DC 5V USB power head. The signal light will indicate power and signal transmission.
