Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Levoit Core 300 Air Purifier. This manual provides important information on setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your device. Please read it thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or other injury, always follow basic safety precautions when using your air purifier:

  • Use the air purifier only as described in this manual.
  • Do not use the air purifier outdoors.
  • Keep the air purifier away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
  • Do not immerse the air purifier in water or other liquids.
  • Always unplug the air purifier before moving it, cleaning it, or changing the filter.
  • Do not block air openings.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Setup

Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
  2. Place the air purifier on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 15 cm (6 inches) of clearance on all sides of the unit for proper air circulation.

Filter Installation

The Levoit Core 300 comes with an original filter pre-installed. Before first use, you must remove the plastic packaging from the filter.

  1. Turn the air purifier upside down.
  2. Twist the filter cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
  3. Remove the plastic packaging from the filter.
  4. Place the filter back into the air purifier.
  5. Replace the filter cover and twist clockwise to lock it securely.
  6. Plug the power cord into a suitable 220-240V AC outlet.

Note: The Levoit Core 300 is not a wireless product and cannot be connected to USB sockets.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

  • Power Button (Circular icon with vertical line): Turns the air purifier on or off.
  • Fan Speed Button (Fan icon): Cycles through fan speeds: Low, Medium, High, and Sleep Mode.
  • Timer Button (Clock icon with '2H', '4H', '6H', '8H'): Sets the auto-off timer for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours.
  • Display Off Button (Lightbulb with diagonal line icon): Turns off the display lights for undisturbed sleep.
  • Check Filter Indicator (Filter icon): Illuminates when the filter needs to be checked or replaced.
  • Display Lock Button (Padlock icon): Press and hold the Timer button for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate. Prevents accidental changes to settings.

Using the Air Purifier

  1. Plug in the air purifier.
  2. Press the Power Button to turn it on. The air purifier will start on Low fan speed.
  3. Press the Fan Speed Button repeatedly to cycle through fan speeds: Low, Medium, High, and Sleep Mode.
    • Sleep Mode: Operates at a very low noise level (24 dB) for quiet operation during sleep. The display lights will dim.
  4. Press the Timer Button to set an auto-off timer. The indicator light will show the selected time (2H, 4H, 6H, or 8H). The unit will turn off automatically after the set time.
  5. Press the Display Off Button to turn off all display lights. Press any button (except Power) to temporarily turn the lights back on.
  6. To activate the Display Lock, press and hold the Timer button for 3 seconds. The padlock icon will illuminate. Repeat to deactivate.
  7. Press the Power Button again to turn off the air purifier.

Maintenance

Filter Replacement

The Check Filter Indicator will light up when the filter needs to be replaced, typically every 6-8 months, depending on usage. Only use genuine Levoit replacement filters to maintain optimal performance.

  1. Unplug the air purifier.
  2. Turn the air purifier upside down.
  3. Twist the filter cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
  4. Remove the old filter.
  5. Clean any dust or debris from inside the air purifier with a soft cloth or vacuum hose.
  6. Unwrap the new Levoit replacement filter and place it into the air purifier.
  7. Replace the filter cover and twist clockwise to lock it securely.
  8. Plug in the air purifier.
  9. Reset Filter Indicator: With the air purifier on, press and hold the Check Filter Indicator button (filter icon) for 3 seconds until the light turns off.

Note: Levoit offers four different filter types for the Core 300: Original, Pet Allergy, Toxin Absorber, and Mold & Bacteria. Choose the filter that best suits your needs.

Cleaning the Air Purifier

  • Always unplug the air purifier before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals.
  • The filter itself cannot be washed. You may gently vacuum the outer pre-filter layer to remove large dust particles, but do not wash or immerse the filter in water.

Troubleshooting
