General Compatibility Guidelines:
- American & Australian Cars: Standard OBD2 protocols after 1996.
- European Cars: Standard EOBD protocols after 2003.
- Asian Cars: Standard OBD2 protocols after 2005.
- Chinese Cars: Standard OBD2 protocols after 2005.
Important Notes:
- Does not work on hybrid or electric vehicles.
- For Lada/VAZ/UAZ car makes, do not purchase if your car is before 2012.
- For Ssangyong car makes, do not purchase if your car is before 2008.
- For Renault Dacia Logan car model, do not purchase if your car is before 2010.
- Electric car and Hybrid car and 24V trucks did not support, like Nissan Leaf and so on.
- Renault/Chevrolet Skoda car makes are not supported.
5. Setup and Connection
- Locate the OBD2 Port: The OBD2 port is typically located under the dashboard on the driver's side, often near the steering column. Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual if you cannot find it.
- Connect the Scanner: With the vehicle's ignition off, firmly plug the KW310's OBD2 connector into the vehicle's OBD2 port.
- Power On: Turn the vehicle's ignition to the "ON" position (do not start the engine unless instructed by a specific diagnostic procedure). The scanner will power on automatically.
- Language Selection: If this is the first use, or if you wish to change the language, navigate to the "System Setup" menu and select "Language".
6. Operating Instructions
The KW310 features a simple menu-driven interface. Use the UP and DOWN arrow buttons to navigate through menu options, the ENTER button to confirm a selection, and the ESC button to return to the previous screen.

- Live Data: Shows real-time data from the vehicle's sensors, such as engine RPM, vehicle speed, oxygen sensor readings, and coolant temperature.
- View Freeze Frame: Captures a snapshot of vehicle operating conditions at the moment a fault code was set.
- I/M Readiness: Checks the status of emission-related monitors to determine if the vehicle is ready for an emissions test.
- O2 Monitor Test: Retrieves O2 sensor monitor test results.
- On-Board Mon. Test: Retrieves test results for emission-related powertrain components and systems that are not continuously monitored.
- Component Test: Allows initiation of a leak test for the EVAP system.
- Vehicle Info: Retrieves Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), Calibration ID (CIN), and Calibration Verification Number (CVN).
