Introduction
Welcome to the Hasbro Gaming Monopoly: Pixar Edition board game. This game combines the classic property trading gameplay of Monopoly with beloved characters and locations from Disney and Pixar films. Players will travel around the board, buying properties, collecting rent, and building Cozy Cone Motels and Al's Toy Barns. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up and playing the game.
Setup
Follow these steps to prepare your Monopoly: Pixar Edition game for play:
- Unfold the Game Board: Place the game board in the center of the playing area.
- Separate Game Components: Organize the money by denomination, separate the Property Title Deed cards, Andy's Toy Chest cards, and Earth Pass cards.
- Choose a Banker: One player is designated as the Banker. The Banker is responsible for the bank's money, Property Title Deeds, Cozy Cone Motels, and Al's Toy Barns. The Banker may also play as a regular player.
- Distribute Starting Money: Each player receives M1500 in the following denominations: two M500s, two M100s, two M50s, six M20s, five M10s, five M5s, and five M1s.
- Place Cards: Shuffle the Andy's Toy Chest cards and place them face-down on their designated space on the board. Shuffle the Earth Pass cards and place them face-down on their designated space.
- Select Player Tokens: Each player chooses one of the unique Pixar-themed tokens.
- Place Cozy Cone Motels and Al's Toy Barns: Keep the red Cozy Cone Motels (houses) and red Al's Toy Barns (hotels) near the Banker.
- Place Dice: Keep the two dice near the game board.

Operating (How to Play)
The objective of Monopoly: Pixar Edition is to be the last player remaining with money, by driving your opponents into bankruptcy.
Gameplay Overview:
- Starting the Game: Each player rolls both dice. The player with the highest total starts the game. Play proceeds clockwise.
- On Your Turn:
- Roll both dice and move your token clockwise around the board the number of spaces indicated.
- The space you land on determines your action.
- If you land on an unowned property, you may buy it from the Bank for the price printed on that space. If you choose not to buy it, the Banker immediately auctions it to the highest bidder.
- If you land on a property owned by another player, you must pay rent to that player. The rent amount is listed on the Property Title Deed card.
- If you land on an "Andy's Toy Chest" or "Earth Pass" space, draw the top card from the corresponding pile and follow its instructions.
- If you land on "Go," you collect M200 salary as you pass.
- If you land on "Go to Jail," move your token directly to the "In Jail" space. You do not collect M200 for passing Go.
- If you roll doubles, you take your turn as usual, then roll again. If you roll doubles three times in a row, you go directly to Jail.
- Building: Once you own all properties in a color set, you can begin building Cozy Cone Motels and Al's Toy Barns on them. Buildings increase the rent charged to other players.
- Trading and Mortgaging: Players can trade properties with each other. Properties can also be mortgaged to the Bank for additional funds.
- Bankruptcy: If you owe more money than you can pay, you are bankrupt and out of the game.
