This image illustrates the two mounting options: C-Clamp for desk edges and Grommet for desks with a pre-drilled hole.

C-Clamp Installation:

  1. Attach the C-clamp assembly to the edge of your desk. Ensure the desk protection pad is used to prevent damage.
  2. Tighten the clamp securely until the base is stable.

Grommet Mount Installation:

  1. Insert the grommet bolt through the desk hole (11-22mm diameter).
  2. Secure the base from underneath the desk using the provided washer and nut.

3. Arm and Monitor Assembly

This image demonstrates the straightforward process of sliding the arm onto the pole for easy assembly.

  1. Slide the monitor arm onto the pole, adjusting to your desired initial height. Secure it with the locking ring.
  2. Attach the VESA plate to the back of your monitor using the appropriate M4 or M5 screws.
  3. Carefully slide the monitor (with VESA plate attached) onto the arm's mounting head until it clicks into place.

Operating Instructions

1. Gas Spring Tension Adjustment

The gas spring tension needs to be adjusted to match your monitor's weight for smooth movement and stable positioning. Use the provided hex key to adjust the screw on the arm. Turn clockwise to increase tension for heavier monitors, and counter-clockwise to decrease tension for lighter monitors.

Experience complete flexibility with the monitor arm's multi-directional adjustment capabilities, including +85° to -30° tilt, 180° left-right swivel, and 360° rotation for optimal viewing angles.

  • Height Adjustment: Gently push or pull the monitor to adjust its vertical position along the pole. The gas spring allows for smooth movement.
  • Tilt: Tilt the monitor screen up or down (+85° to -30°) to reduce glare and find a comfortable viewing angle.
  • Swivel: Swivel the monitor left or right (180°) to share your screen with others or change your viewing direction.
  • Rotation: Rotate the monitor 360° to switch between landscape and portrait orientations.

3. Cable Management

Utilize the integrated cable management clips along the arm to route and conceal your monitor cables, maintaining a tidy workspace.

Maintenance

  • Regularly check all screws and connections to ensure they are tight and secure.
  • Clean the arm and base with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Periodically re-adjust the gas spring tension if you notice the monitor sagging or moving too freely/stiffly.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Monitor sags or does not stay in position. Gas spring tension is too low for the monitor's weight. Increase gas spring tension by turning the adjustment screw clockwise with the provided hex key.
Arm movement is too stiff. Gas spring tension is too high for the monitor's weight. Decrease gas spring tension by turning the adjustment screw counter-clockwise with the provided hex key.
Monitor arm feels unstable or wobbly. Mounting clamp/grommet is not securely tightened. Re-tighten the C-clamp or grommet mount screws. Ensure the desk surface is suitable.
Cables do not fit into cable management. Cable connectors are too large for the cable clips. Route cables externally or use smaller diameter cables if possible.
Monitor detached from the arm. VESA plate not properly secured or desk mount failed. Immediately re-secure the monitor to the VESA plate and ensure the VESA plate is locked onto the arm. Check desk mount stability. If the desk mount failed, reinforce the desk or use a different mounting point.
